Can’t convince your wife or girlfriend to explore the great outdoors with you but don’t want to miss out on the adventure? There are many clubs you can join so you don’t have to go it alone.

We’ve done the research for you and put together a list of some of the most social caravan clubs around Western Australia.

  1. Australian Happy Wanderers Caravan Social Club

This club explores the 150km radius around the Australind and Bunbury areas. The Happy Wanderers give you the perfect opportunity to meet like-minded people in a social atmosphere who are keen to share their experience and knowledge with you. As well as being able to bond over your new or second-hand Jaycos, the Happy Wanderers are knows for their social activities such as tours and entertainment nights.

West coast Metal Detecting Club

If you have an interest in metal detecting or finding gold, this is the club for you. Metal detecting is a recreational past time that you can take up and down Western Australia’s coastline. Anyone of any age can get involved in metal detecting. As well as encouraging participation, the club organises social hunts and events. For those new to metal detecting, you might be surprised to find just how much it can help you lead a healthy lifestyle. Before you know it you’ll be hitting your daily step quota without even trying. Membership is not restricted to owners of metal detectors or to owners of any particular brand.

  1. Country Roads Caravan Club

This club truly caters for everyone with 35 current members aged from 32 to 85. Families are always welcome as well as any fury friends who love to get involved in the caravan lifestyle. The Country Roads Caravan Club is a very active one, holding around 10 rallies per year. These are usually weekends where the club goes to country farms, country community centres and the occasional caravan park. This is a great way to take your Jayco and experience somewhere new – maybe even somewhere you’ve never heard of before. Some of WA’s greatest treasures are hidden in our country towns.

  1. The Jayco Owners Club of WA

If these Club’s don’t sound like the perfect fit, or you’re keen to gen involved in multiple clubs – you can always join the Jayco Buyers Club. If you’re looking for some like-minded folk that appreciate the freedom of the RV lifestyle, then look no further. WA has three Jayco Clubs. For owners of both new and second hand Jaycos, this is a great way to meet new people and learn more about caravanning. Being a part of one of the Jayco Owners Clubs in WA will open you up to a whole new world of caravans and give you tips on where to go and how to make the very most of your Jayco.

Owning a caravan is truly one of life’s greatest joys. It opens you up to a whole new world of travel and experiences right in your own backyard. Like so many of our favourite recreational activities though, many people find it more enjoyable when done in groups.
